June 2011 Greenville, IN Help Us Celebrate our 36th Annual Watermelon Run. the South Hoosier Street Rod Club and on Sunday June 13, 2010 we will be celebrating our 35th Annual Watermelon Rod Run. This is a run where we don't charge anyone to attend and it's just a day to enjoy the cars and renew old friendships. We usually have a about 125 cars and trucks attend the day for free watermelon, soft drinks, and a rod run through the country side of southern Indiana. We are asking businesses to help support our rod run with items for goodie bags, door prizes, or anything else that we could use. Some sponsors have sent Banners to show their support for the car hobby and we display those for each company. If possible anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated. June  2011 Paducah, Kentucky  River Front Rod Run -  Members of the River Tin Street Rods invite you to join us for our 2010 Riverfront Rod Run, June  We are expecting over 400 pre-'49 street rods to cruise into Paducah for the 34th annual charity show. To be held in downtown Paducah on the city parking lot, reserved streets and riverfront park. The beautiful Ohio River flanks the show venue held on the main streets of downtown Paducah and the riverfront park. Come early - registration will open at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning. All registered show participants receive tickets to the Friday evening Hospitality Dinner. After dinner, join us for our "Fun Time Charity Auction".
Saturday offers a wide variety of games for children and adults. Door prizes will be given away and chances will be sold for an outstanding selection of raffle items. The entire family will have fun gathering the items needed for the scavenger hunt, participating in the Bake Take and many more activities. Our 50/50 is always popular with the crowd.
The Top 25 Street Rods and nine "special" awards will be presented on Sunday. PPG will present the "Best of Show" and "Best Use of Color" trophies. $1,000 in cash drawings will be given away along with a set of custom wheels and a set of tires.
